Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Dutch-speaking Poker Editor.

In this role, you will create, edit, and optimize engaging content related to poker, ensuring high quality, SEO compliance, and accuracy while collaborating daily with editors and team members to support content strategy, project success, and steady content production.

Responsibilities:

• Edit a wide range of poker content, including how-to guides, strategy explainers, player profiles, game variants, and long-form features
  
• Identify high-opportunity keywords and content gaps. Creating content plans, identifying keyword gaps, and optimizing existing pages
  
• Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with SEO strategy, poker trends, and audience needs
• Ensuring that the content meets the highest standards of best practices in terms of on-page SEO, Technical SEO, and internal linking
  
• Creation and analysis of traffic/rankings reports to identify new initiatives to increase revenue and earn organic backlinks
  
• Ensure all content is factually accurate, well-written, and optimized for search and user engagement
  
• Growing traffic for both informational and commercial pages in the Netherlands
  
• Manage and expand a network of poker-savvy freelance writers and contributors
• Stay current on poker news, game updates, and industry trends to inform content planning
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience commissioning and editing content in the poker space
  
• Deep understanding of poker gameplay, formats (cash, tournaments, online/live), and strategy
  
• Strong editorial judgment with the ability to shape and elevate complex content for all skill levels
  
• Solid grasp of SEO principles and how they apply to evergreen and informational content.
  
• Excellent editing, writing, and communication skills
  
• Experience managing freelance writers and providing clear, constructive feedback
  
• Comfortable using data and analytics tools to inform and refine content strategy.
  
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
  
• Awareness of responsible gaming practices and regulatory considerations
  
• Passion for poker and an understanding of what the poker audience values
  
• Vast experience with on-page SEO
  
• Experience with SEO tools (Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Majestic, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  
• Knowledge of WordPress is a must
• Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Dutch language
