Job Description:
We’re hiring a talented Content Editor who thrives at the intersection of creativity and search performance.
In this role, you’ll be the final gatekeeper for every article we publishsharpening structure, refining tone, and enhancing SEO to ensure each piece is clear, accurate, and optimized to rank. You’ll collaborate closely with writers, SEO strategists, and our editorial leads to bring high-quality crypto content to life.
From keyword-rich meta descriptions to clean WordPress formatting, you’ll take ownership of turning great drafts into polished, high-performing assets helping grow traffic for one of the fastest-growing crypto projects.
Responsibilities:
Editorial Review:
Line-edit for clarity, accuracy, tone, and compliance with our crypto project style guide; rewrite headlines & decks for maximum punch.
On-Page SEO:
Insert primary/secondary keywords naturally, craft compelling meta titles & descriptions, structure H2/H3s around search intent, add schema (FAQ, How-To, Article) when relevant, and implement internal-link strategy.
Content Planning Support:
Collaborate with SEO team on keyword briefs and content gaps; brief writers on intent, SERP nuances, and target structure.
Scheduling & Publishing:
Move copy from Google Docs to WordPress, apply styling elements, responsive tables, pull-quotes, code snippets, and ensure accessibility (alt text, aria labels).
Quality Assurance:
Preview posts on desktop and mobile, test all links/CTAs, and flag any layout or content issues before a post goes live.
Process Documentation:
Align with the editorial calendar, secure final approvals, schedule or publish at optimal times, and update evergreen pieces according to refresh cadence. Keep concise SOPs for editing, SEO checks, uploading, and rollback procedures so new teammates can ramp up quickly.
Qualifications:
1–2 years’ experience working with content in WordPress.
Comfortable working in Google Docs and transferring formatted copy to WordPress without losing structure.
Basic grasp of HTML/CSS (just enough to fix spacing or simple layout issues).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy “measure twice, publish once.”
Clear written communication and the ability to follow checklists or create your own when needed.
Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable using project-management tools such as Monday.com.
