Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Japanese SEO Content Editor who will be responsible for managing and enhancing our SEO content. Working closely with content writers and freelancers, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in editing and optimizing content for organic search and improving conversion rates for various sites and projects. In this position, you will lead the execution of our global organic content strategy and perform essential tasks across different sites, collaborating with other teams to meet the company's overall objectives.

Core Tasks:

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, engagement, and revenue.

• Learn the unique rules and restrictions for each media partner we work with and adapt the content strategy accordingly.

• Build content briefs across a range of topics with thorough keyword and competitor analysis

• Research and suggest relevant keywords, topics, and content structures to writers with data-backed research.

• Edit and improve articles for clarity, accuracy, and SEO optimization.

• Monitor content performance, analyze traffic, and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Daily management of in-house or freelance writers, giving feedback and setting tasks.

• Help with the translation/writing when needed

Essential Requirements:

• Native Japanese speaker, fluent in English

• Some experience in Crypto

• Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization.

• Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).

• Solid editing and proofreading skills in Japanese.

• Ability to guide non-SEO writers to improve content quality and rankings.

Nice to have Requirements:

• Monitor the crypto and gaming sectors in order to adapt to trends and changes;

• Stay up to date with competitor messaging and best in class content;

• Recommend new SEO techniques/tactics in line with search engine latest updates, market changes and developments.
